Apple Cider Martini

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

While I love pumpkin flavor, apple is definitely my favorite this time of year! And how glam is this stunning apple cider martini?

I'm a big fan of vodka martinis because they are so easy to customize with seasonal flavors.  This easy recipe is filled with apple flavor, warm spices, and nutty Amaretto in a fun fall martini.

It's a perfect fall cocktail for happy hour or your fall party. This delicious drink is also something a little different to enjoy during the holiday season.  Make a big batch for your next occasion.

Ingredient Notes

This Fall drink uses simple ingredients that should be available in any grocery store.

Ingredients for an apple cider martini laying on a countertop.
  • Fresh Apple Cider - If you're making this during apple season, I recommend using fresh cider.  I usually pick up local cider at the nearby apple orchard.  Otherwise, if your can't find cider year round, you can use some commercial apple juice instead.
  • Vodka - I used Grey Goose vodka in this cocktail, but any unflavored vodka would work fine.  For an extra flavor kick, you could also use caramel vodka for a caramel apple martini.
  • Amaretto liqueur - This liqueur adds a delightful nutty and caramel flavor to the drink.  It pairs perfectly with the apple flavors.
  • Lemon Juice - Just a little fresh lemon juice to offset all of the sweet flavors.
  • Simple Syrup - I used my homemade simple syrup for this recipe.  If you prefer store bought that's fine too.  As an alternative, you could also sweeten this drink with maple syrup for a richer flavor.
  • Ground Cinnamon - Apple and cinnamon are basically besties! If you prefer you could substitute apple pie spice instead for even more warm spice flavor.

Glassware for Serving this Cocktail

This cocktail should be served in martini glasses.  Chilling the glass beforehand will help to keep the cocktail cold, since it is not served with ice.
