Brew an espresso. You can choose to make a single shot or a double shot of espresso for your latte.

Froth your oat milk. This can be done using a milk frother, but if you do not have a milk frother there are other alternative methods (see notes below).

Pour the prepared espresso into a serving mug or glass.
Top with the warm frothed oat milk and enjoy immediately.
Notes
How to froth your milk without a frother:
Stovetop: You can froth your oat milk by placing it in a small saucepan over medium heat. Then use a whisk to froth the milk as it warms up - this should take 2 - 5 minutes.
Blender: To froth your milk using a blender, warm the milk up using a microwave or stovetop. Place the warm milk in a high-speed blender and blend until frothy - this should take about 1 minute. (Be sure to first check that your blender can handle hot liquids if using this method).
Mason Jar: Warm your milk and add it to a mason jar with a lid. Shake the jar vigorously until the oat milk doubles in size.
Flavor Variations:
Sweeten It: Add a little of your sweetener of choice to your latte. Cane sugar, honey, and maple syrup are all good options. You could also use simple syrup. I especially love the flavor of sweetening my latte with brown sugar. The amount of sweetener you add will depend on personal preferences.TIP: I find mixing the sweetener into the hot espresso works best.
Decaf option: You can still enjoy a delicious latte without any caffeine by using decaf coffee when making your latte.
Vanilla: Add a little bit of vanilla extract or vanilla syrup to your latte to turn it into a delicious vanilla oat latte.
Spices: For a hint of spice, sprinkle your latte with cinnamon or nutmeg for a yummy twist on a classic latte. Or for seasonal fun, add a little of my homemade pumpkin spice syrup.
Mocha latte option: To turn this latte into a rich chocolatey mocha latte, mix in a teaspoon of cocoa powder into the hot espresso.
