Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

It's PSL season friends! That glorious time of year when Summer meets Fall and it's totally acceptable to drink iced coffee that's filled with pumpkin pie spice.  This iced pumpkin spice latte recipe is a copycat of the Starbucks version and now you can drink it anytime you want.

Because it's still hot where I live, I will always opt for the iced PSL.  But one sip of those warm spices tells me that changing leaves and cozy times are ahead.  So get ready to make this delicious coffee drink right at home with my favorite homemade pumpkin spice syrup.

Ingredient Notes

This coffee recipe uses just three simple ingredients (plus ice) and it's so easy to make in your home kitchen!  You'll be wondering why you were ever paying for the coffee shop version.

Ingredients for a pumpkin spice latte sitting on a concrete countertop.
  • Milk - One of the best things about being your own barista is you can use your favorite milk.  Love almond milk, oat milk, soy milk, or whole milk? You do you!
  • Pumpkin Spice Syrup - This is a crucial ingredient to get the Fall flavors.  I've used my homemade pumpkin spice syrup, but you can also find pumpkin syrup in grocery stores.
  • Espresso - It goes without saying that you can't have a coffee drink without coffee. I like to use strong coffee to balance all of the milk, so you'll need two shots of espresso.

How to Make an Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte

You will need a milk frother to make this latte as shown in the photos.  If you don't have one, you can just stir the milk and syrup together with a spoon.

Pumpkin spice syrup and milk being mixed together with a milk frother in a tall glass.

STEP 1: Combine the milk and pumpkin spice syrup in a tall glass.  Use your milk frother to mix them well.

Espresso being poured into the glass with the pumpkin spice milk.

STEP 2: Add ice cubes and top off with the brewed espresso.

Garnish Suggestions

  • Top with cold foam
  • Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
  • Top with whipped cream if you're feeling extra!

Expert Tip

Freeze brewed coffee in and ice cube tray and use the coffee ice cubes in your chilled drinks to keep them from getting watered down!
